Stephen M. Stromoski

Stephen Matthew Stromoski, born September 14, 1965 in New Brunswick, New Jersey and died on November 13, 2017 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania. Stephen was a devoted son, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was a man of many talents and excelled in every endeavor he attempted. He was exceedingly well read and familiar with the classics of literature, cinema and popular music. His enlistment into the U.S.Army saw him quickly rise to Staff Sergeant Squad Leader in the Airborne Infantry taking on the responsibility of maintaining readiness of the nine riflemen in his purview. He received many "Soldier of the Month" awards for his leadership skills. Upon completing his enlistment of nearly four years he located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated with an accountants degree from Robert Morris College. He secured his CPA upon his initial attempt and began his professional career for various international corporations over the next 25 years, securing their compliance with the tax codes that they operated under. His attention to detail and tax law saw these same corporations realize millions of dollars in savings under his expert supervision. Stephen ran in many public races in Pittsburgh including the Pittsburgh Marathon. He enjoyed his culinary and baking skills and those who benefited from them remember Pot Roasts and chocolate cake fondly. He always made time to visit our Aunt Audrey and Aunt Marie, laden with home cooked meals for them. His passing leaves those who received his attention and affection with much sadness, yet sustained by the memories of his dedication to excellence and a mastery of lifes challenges.
