Robert Francis Dee

Of Indiana Twp., on Friday, March 23, 2018, Mr. Dee was the beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn Burton Dee; father of Diana Lucas (Peter) of Indiana Twp., and Jim Dee (Mary) of Knoxville, TN; son of the late James and Mary Alice Doonan Dee; grandfather of Brian Lucas, Heather Lucas (Mike Sullivan) and Amanda Dee.

Robert was a World War II army veteran who fought in the Pacific theater. He fought in all of the major campaigns in MacArthurs march to Japan, including Peleliu, Leyete, Luzon and Okinawa. After graduating college with an engineering degree he went to work for the Dept. of the Army. He did two tours in Vietnam as a civilian military advisor. He finished his career at the Pentagon.

Services and Interment were Private. Arrangements made by Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rte. 8, Shaler Twp.
