Richard R. Schmitt

Age 79, of Hampton Twp., on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Richard was the beloved husband of Nikki Schmitt; father of Richard Schmitt (Karen), Christopher Schmitt; step-father of Kelly Collison (Tim), Heather Harrington (Rob), Ainslee Atkins and the late Cali Ficorilli (surv. Victor); brother of David Schmitt (Barbara), John Schmitt (Marie), and the late Larry Schmitt (surv. Bernie); also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Celebrate Richard’s life with his family at a Memorial Gathering from 9-10 AM on Tuesday with a Memorial Service immediately following at 10 AM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 875 Greentree Rd Building 7 suite 700, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 or ASPCA, www.aspca.org to honor Rich’s love of dogs.
