Raymond R. Istenes, Sr.

Age 82, on Monday, September 12, 2022, Mr. Istenes of Shaler Twp. was the beloved husband of Marjorie Boyle Istenes; father of Dr. Nancy A. Istenes (Sean Ward), Raymond R. Istenes, Jr. (Charla); son of the late Edward J. and Agnes P. Ehrilich Istenes; brother of Robert Istenes (late Catherine) and the late Agnes Joseph, Anna Meyer, Dorothy Bier, Viola Nemeth, Ruth Ann St. Clair, and George Istenes; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ray enjoyed spending a great deal of his time hunting and fishing at his camp. He enjoyed his Saturday morning breakfasts with his brothers and friends, and will be missed by his family, friends and neighbors.

Celebrate Ray’s life with his family on Thursday from 2-7 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp. A Funeral Service will be held at Epworth United Methodist Church on Friday at 11 AM.
