On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Norma E. Lillion, of Glenshaw, was called home to the Lord. Her life was a quiet testament to faith, devotion, and love. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who deeply loved her three sons and one granddaughter, teaching them not only the Catholic faith, but how to live it through kindness, sacrifice, and daily example.
She was a loving wife who shared more than 50 years of marriage with her beloved late husband Stephen, building a home filled with warmth, stability, and care. Through every season of life, Norma placed her family first, offering steady guidance, compassion, and unwavering support.
Her faith shaped every part of her life. Whether through prayer, service, or the simple grace with which she treated others, Norma reflected the love of Christ to those around her. She was a past co-president of the Christian Mothers at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church as well as a devoted cook at the North Suburban Meals on Wheels for many years. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and quiet strength that will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her three sons Richard S. Lillion (Irene) of Allison Park, PA, Joseph M. Lillion of Glenshaw, PA, and Edward M.Lillion (Heather) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughter Cate E. Lillion of Omaha, NE. In addition to many nieces and nephews, she is also survived by her sister-in law Maureen Heyl.
She is preceded in death by her husband Stephen J. Lillion; her parents Edwin and Elizabeth Heyl; her sisters Corinne Heyl, Lois Bisulca (Sam), her brothers Regis Heyl (Bertha), Robert Heyl (Maureen) and her daughter-in-law, Wendy Lillion.
