Louis Wayne Bossola

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Louis “Wayne” Bossola, who left us on January 5, 2026 at the age of 75. Wayne was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charmagne; his children, Brittany (Tony), and Brandon (Christy); his granddaughters, Althea, Thalia, Elara, and Judith. Wayne is also survived by his mother June, sister Maxine (Mark), and many loving family members. He is preceded in death by his father Lou.

Wayne will be remembered as a successful periodontist/oral surgery specialist and businessman with Bossola Periodontics supporting the Butler and Natrona Heights communities. He graduated from University of Pittsburgh for both his undergraduate and dental degrees, and he was a proud Pitt alumnus and sports fan. Wayne completed an oral surgery program at West Penn Hospital prior to starting his own periodontal practice. Wayne loved being with his grandchildren, designing homes, golfing, and sports cars. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially to the island of Nevis where they built a second home together and contributed medical equipment to the island. He will fondly and lovingly be remembered as “papa” by his granddaughters

A celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Friday, January 16th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw. Family and friends are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
