John H. Nic Nicolaus

Age 83, of Plum, formerly of Milwaukee, WI, on Sunday Jan. 9, 2022. Predeceased by his wife of 59 wonderful years, Carol Mae Fellbaum of Wausau, WI. Father of Jill (Jim) Amidon and John D. (Linda) Nicolaus; "Poppa" to five grandchildren. A career employee of Westinghouse, Nic was active in the community and will be remembered by his Westinghouse (SURE) colleagues, Holiday Park Methodist Church Choir members, Heinz History Center Docents, Pittsburgh Aero Club members, Pittsburgh Badger Club (Univ. of Wisconsin), and as a Boy Scout Scoutmaster. Family and friends will remember the retirement travel he and Carol shared around the globe as they enjoyed the opportunities and blessings life had afforded them. There will be no local viewing. Burial will take place in Wausau, WI, beside his wife, Carol. Donations can be made to Make-a-Wish in their names.
