Janis Waelchli

Age 75, of Shaler Twp., on Monday, October 24, 2022, Ms. Waelchli was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond and Jean Dailey; sister of Nancy Regrut (Douglas), Daniel Dailey (Sondra), Dave Dailey (Jancey), and the late Raymond Dailey Jr.

Janis attended St Ursula school and Vincentian high school. She also worked at Mellon Bank headquarters for several years. She was active in the Girl Scouts organization and always enjoyed their cookie fundraising drive. Most recently a member of Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church  and performed custodial work there from time to time. She did volunteer work for the local meals on wheels program, later to become a recipient of their services. Some of her hobbies included making home made ornaments, knitting and playing her guitar and piano. In her earlier years she was active with the Young Republicans in the area. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 1 from 10-11 AM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Shaler Twp. where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM.
