James R. Jim Politylo

Age 78, of Indiana Twp., on Sunday, July 4, 2021, Jim was the beloved father of Mary Anne Murry (John), Jill Casper (Rob Zech), Dayna Politylo (Chuck Kirkland), Jayme Politylo, Michelle Llewellyn (Bryan); companion of Anna Smith; son of the late Chester and Alexandria Politylo; brother of Johanna Belton (John), Thomas Politylo (Babs); also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jim was a proud US Air Force Veteran. He worked for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette for over 25 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards at the casino. In his younger years, he loved to play softball.

Celebrate Jims life with his family on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd., Shaler Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw on Friday at 10 AM.
