James "Big Jim" F. Skirtich

Of Shaler Twp., on Sunday, June 5, 2022, Jim was the beloved father of Jim Skirtich (Danielle) and Justin Skirtich (Amy); son of the late Frank and Marie Kushon Skiritch; survived by many siblings; grandfather of Terra Skirtich (Brayden), Courtney Carey (Cody), John Ioannou (Jaelin), Nicholas, Gabriel, Zoey and Eli Skirtich.

Celebrate Jim’s life with his family on Thursday from 2-7 PM at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp. where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM. Jim’s cousin, Fr. John Skirtich will preside. The family respectfully suggests donations may be made to The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, 5324 Penn Avenue Pittsburgh , PA 15224.
