Jack Burkhart

Of Shaler Twp., on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, Mr. Burkhart was the beloved husband of the late Rita M. Kaiser Burkhart; father of Bonnie A. Burkhart of Hampton, Robert Burkhart of Shaler, Jim Burkhart (Amy) of Shaler and Laurie Mushinsky (Richard) of Hampton; son of the late Jacob Burkhart and Anna Burkhart Nadjerac; brother of Bernadette Sutter Zang (Bob) of Gibsonia and Betty Kunich (late Ed) of FL; grandfather of Jake, Brett, Paige, Josh and Ava. Mr. Burkhart was a retired Regional Operations Manager for ATT for 35 years. Jack was a consummate professional who loved to cook, garden and entertain especially for the Annual Pig Roast at his home.

Celebrate Mr. Burkhart’s life with his family on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw on Monday at 10 AM. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to the Hope Hospice, 3356B Babcock Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
