Originally from Guanzghou, China, passed away at home in Greenfield (Pittsburgh), Pennsylvania, on Thursday, January 8, 2026. She owned a travel agency in Madagascar before moving to the US where she worked at the University of Pittsburgh cafeteria. She loved cooking intricate Chinese food, growing vegetables, playing roulette, crafting miniature beaded animals and objects and knitting her own sweaters and hats. She is survived by her mother, Pui-Man Ng, her brother, Chin Au, her sister, Keyu Au, her brother, Raymond Au, her sister, Hing-Yi Au, her brother, Huen Au, and daughter, Christine H. Chen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Yung-You Chen, and her father, King Au.
