Giuseppe Joe Lazzaro

Of Highland Park, on Friday, March 11, 2022, Joe emigrated from Maierato, Italy in the 1950s. He was the beloved husband of Teresa Fusca Lazzaro; father of Anthony Lazzaro (Jacki), Joseph Lazzaro (Doreen and the late Catherine) and Domenic Lazzaro (Nicole); son of the late Antonio and Palma Costa Lazzaro; brother of Domenico Lazzaro (Giuseppina) and the late Elisa Lazzaro, Carmella Lazzaro (Suveri Ruffa) and Paolo Lazzaro (survived by Lucia); grandfather of Matthew Lazzaro (Colleen), Justin Lazzaro (fianc Emily Caudill), Dayna Lazzaro (fianc Christian Cotugno), Michael, Gregory, Christopher, Joseph and Andrew Lazzaro; great-grandfather of Luca and Mia Lazzaro; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a cement finisher for Casper Colosimo & Son, Inc. for 35 years. After his retirement, gardening became his passion. He was most proud of his fig trees and tomatoes.

Celebrate Joes life with his family on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd., Shaler Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Raphael Church (St. Jude Parish), Morningside, on Wednesday at 10 AM.
