Geraldine A. "Geri" Wilson

Geraldine Ann Wilson, affectionately known amongst her loved ones as Geri, was a beacon of love and generosity whose presence on earth will be profoundly missed. Born on February 22, 1942, in the welcoming city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Geri was a tangible manifestation of grace throughout her earthly journey. On September 15, 2025, in the tranquil surroundings of her home in Dunedin, Florida, Geri concluded her remarkable sojourn, leaving behind a legacy characterized by wisdom, love, and benevolence. An alumna of an all-girls Catholic school located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA, Geri developed not only a fervent spirit of discipline and learning but also a strong foundation in her Christian faith. Her career began with quiet beginnings as a meticulous secretary for NABISCO, an experience that fine-tuned her attention to detail and excellence. Geri's vocational journey would lead her down a varied path, evolving from devoted stay-at-home mother to the enterprising and much-admired counter manager for Estée Lauder. Her passion for aesthetics brightly shone as she excelled as a wardrobe consultant and personal shopper for GAYFERS, channeling her innate sense of style to brighten the lives of countless individuals. Geri's professional pinnacle was reached in her leadership as the Executive Vice President of her family business, Signature Announcements—a testament to her vision and commitment. This remarkable woman continued to inspire with her dedication, retiring only at the age of 81, and even then, continued to exemplify resilience and determination. Geri's family was her heart's greatest joy and treasure. In her beloved husband John Wilson, who predeceased her, she found a true partner with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Her legacy is carried on by her children, Sharon, Beverly, and Jason Wilson, who will forever cherish her teachings and nurturing. The lineage of her influence spans across generations, marked by Michael, Brandon, Jeremy, Josh, Cullen, Taylor, Justin, Jace, Bryson, Braelyn, and Florence. Each grandchild and great-grandchild is a testament to her love, wisdom, and the inspiration she was. Geri's life was a living testament to her Christian faith, which was the cornerstone upon which she built her life and values. She instilled in her family the importance of faith, hope, and love, and she led by example, walking in the light of the Lord with every step. Her interests were as diverse as they were rich – traveling with friends and family, conjuring delightful meals and memories in the kitchen, and the joyous fellowship of hosting loved ones. Geri's pursuit of beauty was not confined to her personal style but was an overarching theme in her passion for art. Her paintings, watercolors, and drawings captured the essence of her spirit and the world as seen through her eyes. Even in her leisure, Geri's zest for life shone through. Reading to expand the mind and playing card games with family for heartwarming camaraderie were just snippets of the tapestry of her life. Her keen eye for beauty and balance naturally found expression in interior design, her homes a reflection of her soul—warm, inviting, and meticulously put together. We are reminded that, to live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die. Geri's embodiment of love and wisdom will continue to guide and uplift her family and friends. The fond memories of her laughter, the comfort of her wise counsel, and the warmth of her continuous generosity will linger long in our hearts. Geraldine 'Geri' Ann Wilson leaves us not with an end but with a legacy—a bridge of love and strength that spans the heavens and touches the lives she graced. Her journey on this temporal plane was lived fully, painted in the vibrant colors of a life well-loved and generously shared. Her voice, though now silent, speaks volumes through the lives she touched—a melodic symphony that echoes with wisdom, love, and generous virtue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson; her parents, Ann and Dominic Murano; and her brother, Bobby Murano. She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, along with her brothers, Tom Murano and Dan Murano, who will continue to honor her memory and carry forward her legacy of love and strength.
