Age 93, of Shaler Twp., passed from this world on Saturday, August 17, 2025. Frank was the beloved son of the late Frank and Anna Bosnic Kerin; brother of Rose Marie Ochs and the late John Kerin; also survived by nieces and nephews in Atlanta, Tampa, and Germany.

Frank lived a long and diverse life. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Opera Company from its very beginning and was responsible for its unionization. His love of opera was lifelong and he continued to offer his beautiful voice to the choir of St. Mary of Assumption Church in Glenshaw.

Frank worked in the lab at Westinghouse, was a master gardener and eventually owned his own floral shop. He ended his career working at the Glenshaw Giant Eagle Café.

Frank was multilingual and served as an interpreter for Catholic Charities. He was a wonderful conversationalist, an avid reader, and a brilliant historian.

Frank was a faithful Catholic. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary of the Assumption Church.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 10th at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Saint Mary of the Assumption Church in Glenshaw. Arrangements made by PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd.
