Edward J. Sauers

Of Shaler Twp., on Sunday, June 5, 2016, after a long battle with cancer, Mr. Sauers was the beloved husband of Susan M. Ley Sauers; father of Julie Perez (Kevin), Brett Sauers, Brianne Sauers (John Wentz); son of the late Fred and Geraldine Scheibel Sauers; also survived by brothers, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Agha & staff, all of the nurses and aides at Hillman Cancer Center, Shadyside Hospital and HJ Heinz Center at the VA. Ed was a proud member of VFW 9199 and lifetime member of the DAV. He proudly served our country as a US Marine in Vietnam.
Celebrate Mr. Sauers life with his family at a Service with Military Honors, notice of date and time later at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
