Dorothy W. (Walls) Czak

Of OHara Twp., on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, Mrs. Czak was the beloved wife of Frank Czak; mother of Jane Sinclair Micale (Frank) of Shadyside; daughter of the late William and Jane Martin Walls; sister of the late Mary Kotchey, Margaret Bailey, and William G. Walls; grandmother of Kirsten Jane Sigurdson (Rick) of Wexford; great-grandmother of Jason and Ryan Sigurdson. Mrs. Czak was born on February 24, 1922. During WWII she worked on invasion gliders at Heinz Company and then at the Blawnox mill as a "Rosie" the riveter. She then transferred to Bell Telephone where she worked for 20+ years. In her retirement, she enjoyed square and ballroom dancing, traveling to Europe and Hawaii, cooking for the seniors group at St. Joseph Church, and the company of others (especially her great-grandsons).
Celebrate Mrs. Czaks life with her family at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rte. 8, Shaler Twp. on Monday from 2-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, OHara Twp. on Tuesday at 10 AM.
