Debra Hartley-Galanda

Age 66, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Shadyside Hospital. She was born on March 28, 1953 and grew up in Shaler Township and recently lived in Wexford, PA.

Debbie was a wonderful Mother to sons Edward and Greg Galanda (and his wife Annie), and Grandmother to Colter & Bridger. She was a sister (and best friend) to Linda (and her husband, Gary) Smith, Sandie (and her husband, Gordon) Scott, Bobbie Hartley and her brother, Tom (and his wife, Mary) Hartley.

Deb was a very kind, selfless and gentle soul. She always worried about the welfare of others before her own. She fought a brave battle against cancer for two years, and won as she is now well and good in Heaven.

Her amazing smile could brighten your day. She was always grateful for everything, especially to Finn, who was a ray of sunshine on her dark days, with his wit, wisdom, love and kindness.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 29, 2020, notice of time later at the North Park Lodge for family & friends to celebrate her life. Arrangements made by Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp.
