Cathleen Ann (Miles) Perman

Cathleen A Perman (Miles), lovingly known as Cakie, passed away on September 6th, at the age of 70. She died peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Cakie was a devoted mother to Kimberly Schmalstieg (Michael) and Edward Perman (Carrie); beloved grandmother of Matthew, Robert, Chelsea, Jessica, Paul, Maddie, Callie and Will; great-grandmother of seven, and surrogate mother/grandmother to many. Sister to John (Deena), Linda (John), Margaret, Robert (Jenn), Thomas (Sandy) and Deborah (Tim). Preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Virginia. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cakie loved having a large family and often told the greatest stories of what it was like growing up with six siblings. She loved her family fiercely and was happiest when her large brood surrounded her. She will be sorely missed.

Celebrate Cakies life with her family on Friday from 2-4 PM 6-8 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd., Shaler Twp. where Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM.
