Of Penn Hills, on Saturday, December 12, 2015, Mr. Sands was the beloved husband of Lillian Falgione Sands; step-father of Randy Vojvoda (Ennie) of Brownsville TX; son of the late Norman and Florine Getty Sands; brother of Kate Fetterman (John) of Penn Hills, Mary Louise Dattilo (Tom) of Forest Hills, Rosemary Edwardson (Dick) of Gastonia, N.C.; son-in-law of the late Mario and Agnes Falgione ; brother-in-law of Debbie Doerfler (Dennis), James “Howie” Falgione and the late Mario “David” Falgione; step-grandfather of Noe Vojvoda; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Celebrate Mr. Sands’ life with his family on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp. where Services will be held Wednesday at 10 AM.
