Michael C. Urbanek

Of Etna, on Saturday, July 23, 2016, Michael passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. He was the beloved father of Connie Taylor (Brian) of Jacksonville FL, Sheila Cortopassi (Albert) of Bethel Park, Stephen Urbanek of Copper Mtn. CO and Nicholas Urbanek (Matthew Lemon) of Seattle WA; son of the late Charles and Thelma Nelleny Urbanek; brother of Rosann Gehringer (late George) of Millvale and Richard Urbanek (Nancy) of Millvale; grandfather of Brianne, Sarah, Katie, Austin and Travis. Mr. Urbanek was a retired steel buyer who loved his dogs, Alister and Rizza. He loved his church, golf, bowling, the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.
Celebrate Mr. Urbaneks life with his family on Monday from 1-8 PM at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp. Services will be held at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Millvale on Tuesday at 11 AM. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 501 North Ave, Millvale, PA 15209.
