Marie L. (Marnell) Buehner

Marie (Marnell) Buehner, 97, of Shaler, died on Friday, July 15. Born in 1919, in McDonald, PA, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (DeLisio) Marnell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Albert J. Buehner, Sr. as well as her siblings- Wilbert, Joseph, Edward, and Clotilda. Marie grew up on the North Side in a large close Italian family where she developed a talent and passion for Italian cooking. She had remained active and independent until earlier this year. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and listening to music. A true Pittsburgher, Marie was an ardent Steelers and Pirates fan. Marie enjoyed many things in life but none more than spending time with her only grandchild, Jessica Marie. She is survived by her children Kristine Pyszniak (the late Paul) and Albert Buehner (Liz) and her granddaughter, Jessica.
Celebrate Mrs. Buehners life with her family on Sunday from 1-5 PM at Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Rte. 8, Shaler Twp. where Services will be held on Monday at 10 AM, with interment to follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
