Eleanor A. Fritsch Moore

Eleanor Anna Moore
What an amazing woman! Eldest of 14 children, Eleanor, age 94, was raised in Aspinwall. She married John Moore (deceased 1997) in 1940 and together they built a field stone house off of Middle Road in Glenshaw. She is survived by 3 children, Ellen, John and Elaine; 4 grandchildren, David, Stephen, Derek and Brian; and 4 great-grandchildren, Devon, Mckenzie, Jeremiah, and Adrienne; brother, Herbert Fritsch, sisters, Katherine Koch, Anna Mary Brick and Florence Marsh. Eleanor was a member of the Middle Road Fire Hall Women's Auxiliary; St Mary Christian Mothers, Middle Road Girl Scouts, PM Club. She was elected to the position of the Election Majority Inspector, and helped with numerous dinners, carnivals, and events in the community over her lifetime. She was a gardener, incredible cook and hostess, homemaker, seamstress and mother. She always had a smile and welcomed company into her home, making even a simple meal into a celebration. She was deeply grateful to God for the wonderful life that she had with a husband who loved and cherished her, in the home that they built together, with a loving family, many good friends and a long and healthy life to enjoy all of the blessings that she had received.
Celebrate Mrs. Moore's life with her family on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd at Rt. 8, Shaler Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw on Monday at 10 AM. Family respectfully suggests donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Mary School, both at 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw PA 15116.
