Albert H. Babe Mattheis

Age 89, of Shaler Twp., on Sunday, February 14, 2021, Mr Mattheis was the beloved husband of Emily C. Stephens Mattheis; father of Mary Ann Kurtz (Bill), Denise Varisco (late Bernie), Dolly Bucek, Ken Mattheis (Beth), and the late Robert Mattheis (surv. Roberta); son of the late Albert and Catherine Rosinski Mattheis; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Babe was an Army Korean War veteran. He was a truck driver for Davison Sand and Gravel, and also a bartender at Porkys Plain Ol Bar.

Celebrate Mr. Mattheis life with his family at a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at Noon at St. Mary Church, St. Juan Diego Parish, Sharpsburg. Arrangements made by PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd., Shaler Twp.
